Youth & Family Counseling (YFC) is seeking Clinical Therapists to join our growing team! We are a non-profit counseling center that offers individual, couple and family counseling to children, adolescents, and adults from all walks of life out of our offices in Libertyville and Gurnee as well as in community settings. The organization is known for its high standard of care and the accessibility of its services.

Responsibilities:

  • Use best clinical practices to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients, assess and diagnose clients, and develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Maintain clinical records, manage clinical emergencies, and liaise with outside resources when appropriate.
  • Contribute to consultation groups and clinical staff meetings.

Job Requirements & Preferences:

  • Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field (candidates must be willing to pursue provisional and full licensure in their discipline)
    • Fully Licensed clinicians preferred (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, LSW, or LCP)
  • Experience with counseling and/or therapy.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to engage with YFC’s mission.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Locations: Lake Zurich, Libertyville, Gurnee - Northwest Suburbs of Lake County
